Bakr Eid (Eid-Al-Adha), the second great festival of Muslims, is being celebrated across the country today. The government has declared a public holiday today on this occasion.
There is a religious tradition of celebrating Bakr Eid (Eid-Al-Adha) on the 70th day after Ramadan, which is Eid-Ul-Fitr. Muslims bathe early this morning and go to the nearest mosque or Eidgah to offer Eid prayers in congregation. After offering prayers, it is customary to exchange greetings with each other. After offering prayers, they offer sacrifices according to religious tradition.
