8 people, including driver, injured in EV van accident
Eight people, including the driver, were injured when an EV van (Ba.P.02-03 Cha 1205) heading from Pokhara to Kapilvastu lost control and crashed on the East-West Highway near the APF camp in Pitauji, Gaindakot Municipality-10, Nawalpur District. All those injured in the accident have been sent to Chitwan Medical College in Chitwan for treatment.
Among the injured, driver Bishnu Gharti, 24, of Mandavi Rural Municipality-02, Pyuthan district, sustained injuries in various parts of his body, and his condition is moderate.
Similarly, Arbindra Agrawal, 31, of Krishnanagar Municipality-02, Kapilvastu, sustained injuries to his arms and legs, and his condition is moderate. His 26-year-old wife, Prabha Agrawal, also sustained injuries to her arms and legs, and her condition is moderate. Arbindra and Prabha Agrawal’s 18-month-old son, Rishi Agrawal, sustained injuries to his head and arms, and his condition is moderate.
Similarly, 26-year-old Ridhi Singhaghania, a resident of Krishnanagar-02, sustained injuries to her right ear and limbs and is in stable condition. 23-year-old Sheri Singh, 17-year-old Siwani Agrawal, and 26-year-old Rishabh Agrawal, all residents of the same area, were also injured. Their condition is stable. Further investigation into the accident is underway.
