Private mobile provider Ncell has announced that it will shut down its 3G services in various parts of the country from July 6, with the aim of further expanding its network and making it more modern and powerful. The company has taken this step in line with Ncell’s plan to upgrade the quality of service by adopting new technology.
According to an official notice issued by Ncell, 3G services will be shut down in local levels of various districts of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Lumbini and Karnali provinces in the first phase. Districts of Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces are not included in this phase.
The company claims that even though Ncell’s 3G service is shut down, customers will not face any problems in communication services and will receive better internet service than before. For this, it has urged its customers to activate VoLTE service for clear voice and fast internet service. After activating this service, customers will be able to enjoy high-quality HD voice and uninterrupted internet service at the same old rate.
According to the company, Ncell’s 4G network currently covers about 95 percent of the country’s population. Ncell has stated that it is committed to continuously providing high-quality telecommunications and internet services to its customers through modern technology.
