Thailand’s new rules have placed India under the Visa on Arrival (VOA) category. Under the revised visa measures approved by the Thai Cabinet on May 19, India will now fall under Thailand’s Visa on Arrival (VOA) category, replacing the previous visa-waiver regime.
Indian tourists have been enjoying a visa-free regime since 2024. This brings a major change in travel accessibility for Indian tourists. India is now among the four countries placed in the Visa on Arrival (VOA) category, along with Azerbaijan, Belarus, and Serbia.
